"When we announced our engagement, people kept saying things like "oh, weddings are so stressful" or "how will you find the time" to the point where even I (Little Miss "what's the problem - it's only a party" (!)) was starting to get a bit worried. I'm a pretty decisive character but the tales of disasters, things that didn't happen etc etc was starting to create a quiet sense of panic. We were viewing venues with teams that didn't care, that were grubby when we looked around and where people didn't seem to be bothered that it was OUR wedding, not just another one in their calendar.
Then we met Emma and everything clicked into place. She took the time to understand what we wanted to achieve, even when things weren't entirely obvious (like us using stickers to personalise things and the best man making short films for his speech!) and nothing was too much bother. She knew her team and gave us such confidence in her attention to detail, efficiency and follow up that all the stress dissipated. She gave us confidence in our other suppliers as we knew that with Emma at the helm she would make sure things came together. All the way through the planning process she was brilliant. And then on the day...discovering that she could read a score and send me down the aisle at exactly the right bar, being a calming, determined and un-hassled leader of her team, making the tables look fantastic (even with the able assistance of one of our famously clumsy friends), choreographing the service at dinner, dealing with a fire alarm as I arrived without appearing to even lift her heart rate by 2 beats...we couldn't have asked for anyone or anything better.
So I say this to brides, grooms, parents, best men, bridesmaids, grandparents and assorted hangers on - get Emma in your corner and the start of your married life will be, quite simply, brilliant."
